The history of Holly Poultry dates back more than 60 years. Then, Holly Poultry was a distribution arm of Holly Farms, a large poultry processor that today is owned by Tyson Foods. As an ice pack distributor in the early 1960's Holly Farms split their distribution away from the parent company and Holly Poultry became an independently owned and operated poultry distributor serving the Baltimore marketplace.

In 1990, with recognition to the changing industry and marketplace, the ownership of Holly Poultry changed hands. Under new leadership, our distribution area expanded to include the Washington market. Over the next several years Fresh Pork and Boxed Beef programs were developed to round out protein offerings to our larger customer base and a further processing foodservice division was initiated to introduce new products and services to that rapidly expanding market segment.

Today, Holly Poultry's protein group services the entire Mid-Atlantic marketplace with the finest national brands of poultry, beef and pork. Our foodservice division offers an unlimited variety of poultry based products supported by the strongest programs in the business.

Under the leadership of Mike Fine, Holly Poultry offers the Mid-Atlantic marketplace the premier distribution services available. Operating with a management team concept, our 125+ years of food industry experience in procurement, warehousing, further processing, sales, marketing, distribution and finance establishes the necessary foundation from which customer relationships grow and prosper.
